Arc Raiders, cozy survival, and a World War II shooter are free to play on Steam
The developers decided to expand the audience of their projects.
In October, the developers of Arc Raiders released the largest update in the project's history. With the release of 2.0 Frozen Trail, the game added a new map, 'Pendola Pass,' several enemies, weapons, equipment, as well as an outpost and the ability to further upgrade weapons.
In addition, Embark Studios launched a 'free weekend' promotion, during which everyone can get acquainted with the new content for free.

Also, the developers of the survival game Core Keeper are holding a 'free weekend' promotion. The game recently received the 'Riders of the Underworld' update, which added a mossy biome, mounts, and more to the game:
Build a base and furnish it to your liking, choosing from many decorative items available in different styles and colors. Get pets and take them with you on adventures. Raise livestock, grow crops, fish, or just relax by the campfire. The dungeon is a memorable living world. At first, it seems dangerous, but there are also many secluded corners where you can not just survive, but thrive.
The Core Keeper page on Steam is available at the following link; free access will last until October 12.
The creators of the online World War II shooter Squad 44 have launched a free access promotion on Steam, which will last until October 13. Players are offered several dozen large-scale battlefields and over 150 realistic weapon models.
