JANE DOE Music Video from "Chainsaw Man" Reaches 100 Million Views - Kenshi Yonezu Sets New Record

This is already the third hit from "Chainsaw Man" to surpass the 100 million view mark.

The music video for the song JANE DOE, performed by Kenshi Yonezu and Hikaru Utada, which was featured in the anime "Chainsaw Man. The Movie: Reze's Story," has garnered over 100 million views on YouTube. As reported on Yonezu's official website, the video surpassed this milestone on the morning of October 8, one year and 15 days after its publication.

Thanks to JANE DOE, the number of music videos for Yonezu's songs that have accumulated at least 100 million views has reached 19 — the musician has updated his personal record among Japanese artists.

Previously, music videos for KICK BACK from the first season of "Chainsaw Man" and IRIS OUT from the movie about Reze's story also surpassed the 100 million view mark. The latter became the first Japanese song to enter the top five of the Billboard Global 200 in early October, and was soon nominated for the 2027 Grammy Awards in two categories.
