One of the most beautiful pixel action games of the year will be released on smartphones - the first teaser of the mobile version of REPLACED
Over 900,000 people have already played REPLACED, and now the developers are preparing for an Android release.
Publisher Thunderful Games and studio Sad Cat Studios have announced a mobile version of REPLACED, a highly-rated action-platformer in a cyberpunk setting. The game will be released on Android on December 8, 2026, and pre-registration on Google Play is already open. Along with the announcement, the developers showed the first teaser.
The action of REPLACED unfolds in an alternate 1980s America, which survived a nuclear catastrophe and came under the rule of the Phoenix corporation. The main character is an artificial intelligence named Rich, who, after an accident in the laboratory, finds himself trapped in the body of his creator, Warren Marsh. Now he has to figure out what's happening, return Warren's control over his own body, and find a way to return to the system.
One of the main features of REPLACED is its visual style, combining pixel graphics with volumetric lighting and cinematic staging. Players will explore locations, solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and participate in battles with a combat system inspired by the Batman: Arkham series.
REPLACED was released on PC and Xbox Series on April 14, 2026, and immediately became available on Game Pass. Since then, over 900,000 people have played it across all platforms, and the share of positive reviews on Steam has reached 85%.
