Defenders Don't Want to Leave After "Daredevil: Born Again" Cancellation - Finn Jones Promotes "Heroes for Hire" Idea

The Iron Fist actor wants to continue working with Mike Colter.

Finn Jones, who plays Iron Fist, told Collider in an interview at New York Comic-Con that the conclusion of “Daredevil: Born Again” after its third season could open the door for a new series featuring members of the Defenders team. The actor himself would like to see a comic book adaptation of “Heroes for Hire”:

“The cancellation of ‘Daredevil’ could open the door for another show — perhaps with all of us involved. Personally, I would really like to see ‘Heroes for Hire.’ I’m pitching that idea right now. I love working with Mike.”

Jones also noted that the future of the characters largely depends on the audience:

“Fans need to watch — it all depends on the number of viewers. If there’s an audience, new stories emerge. I know people love these characters and the world we work in, and we would like to continue telling stories.”

Interestingly, back in May, insider MyTimeToShineHello reported that a writer was being sought for “Heroes for Hire.” However, Marvel has not yet officially announced the project's development or commented on these rumors.

The third and final season of “Daredevil: Born Again” is expected in spring 2027.
