Cultists broke free - Cult of the Lamb ported to Android

News

The mobile version of Cult of the Lamb remained an iOS exclusive for almost a year until enthusiasts took matters into their own hands.

In December 2025, Devolver Digital and Massive Monster released Cult of the Lamb on iOS for Apple Arcade subscribers. However, an official Android version has not been announced since, so enthusiasts took matters into their own hands. The Wicked Projects team ported the game to Android, using the original version for Apple devices as a base — without the Woolhaven expansion.

According to Reddit reviews, the port works quite well. Users report stable 60 FPS even on smartphones that are not the most powerful by current standards, such as the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, released back in 2020. A user under the nickname nuneskart noted that the game runs better than when launching the PC version via a Windows emulator.

Cult of the Lamb combines a combat roguelike with settlement management. The main character is a lamb, saved from death by a mysterious deity. In gratitude, he founds a cult in honor of his savior and sets off in search of followers. Players will explore dungeons, fight enemies, and gather resources, and between expeditions, attend to cult matters. They need to build housing, feed followers, preach sermons, and perform rituals so that the flock does not lose faith and decide to rebel.
