HBO continues filming the "Harry Potter" series. The Weasley family was caught on camera arriving at the iconic King's Cross station.
Filming for the new HBO series based on "Harry Potter" is in full swing. On Sunday, August 24, the film crew worked at King's Cross station in London — a significant location for fans of the franchise. It is from here that Hogwarts students depart for the school of magic, and where some memorable scenes from the books and films unfold.
Local photographers captured the actors in the roles of the Weasleys. Among them are Alastair Stout (Ron), twins Tristan and Gabriel Harland (Fred and George), Ruairi Spooner (Percy), Gracie Cochrane (Ginny), and Catherine Parkinson, playing the role of Molly Weasley.
The series will adapt J.K. Rowling's books in a multi-season adaptation format. Production of the first season will last until May 2026, and the premiere is expected in 2027. After a short break, the studio plans to immediately begin filming the second season.
