Key findings:
● 61% of Russians play regularly, more than a quarter — daily.
● In 2025, 57% started buying games less often, 36% — spending less on them.
● 59% use Steam, and the most popular payment method is banking services (25%).
● Demand for Russian peripherals (keyboards, mice) has increased by 50%, imported ones — decreased by 17%.
The survey covered more than 1,000 Russians over 18 years old and anonymized data from T-Bank clients.
More than half play regularly: 27% daily, 20% several times a week, 14% — several times a month. 77% prefer PCs, 48% — mobile devices, 17% — consoles.
Demand for video cards in Q1 2025 decreased by 27%, spending fell by 15%, the average check increased by 16%. Sales peaks occur in August and December.
After 2022, Russians are looking for new payment methods due to restrictions on foreign services: 25% use banking services, 21% — electronic wallets, 18% — digital marketplaces. Steam (59%) and Epic Games Store (24%) are popular.
16% of Russians visit computer clubs, more often men and young people under 25 years old. The main reason for visiting is to spend time with friends (65%).
