In the new Marvel film, Gambit will appear, but not always played by Tatum himself. The actor spoke about the difficulties of filming and the nuances of the character's return after \"Deadpool & Wolverine.\"

Channing Tatum, who plays Gambit, has confirmed that his character will appear in one of the most anticipated scenes of \"Avengers: Judgment Day\" — the battle with Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey Jr. However, the actor himself was unable to participate in the filming of the fight due to a leg injury he sustained.

According to Variety, Tatum is currently limping and will require about six months of physical therapy. Due to the injury, he was replaced in the fight scenes: a stunt double played the entire fight against Doom, and the actor himself only appears in dialogues and close-ups. "It's not about the pain. It's about the fact that you can't undo it. Now I know exactly how the next six months of my life will go", he said.

Tatum also commented on the updated presentation of the character. According to him, in \"Avengers: Judgment Day,\" Gambit will be noticeably more restrained than in his cameo in \"Deadpool & Wolverine.\" The studio decided not to overdo it with the accent and humor in order to maintain the serious tone of the film.

\"Avengers: Judgment Day\" will be released on December 18, 2026, and will be part of the final chapter of the current Marvel Cinematic Universe.
