Insider NWeedle confirmed this by quoting Mia's line, Ethan Winters' wife, from the introduction to Resident Evil 7: "All I can say is, if you get this, stay away!"
This indicates that the upcoming horror announcement for Switch 2 is specifically related to Resident Evil 7. A few days ago, insider SwitchForcereported on a Nintendo Direct presentation, which is supposedly taking place on Friday, September 12, 2025. According to him, it will feature many announcements, release dates, and three projects united by the number "7." He compared it to the symbolism of slot machines, hinting at a "jackpot" of gaming news.
Fans on social media are trying to solve the riddle, suggesting Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Soul Calibur 7, or Dragon Quest VII. When asked about Ace Attorney 7, SwitchForce replied: "Negative captain :/, " excluding it from the list.
