NVIDIA video card owners can prepare for the major releases in mid-September.
Today, NVIDIA released the new GeForce Game Ready 581.29 WHQL driver in preparation for the release of Borderlands 4, which is set to launch on September 12, as well as the launch of Dying Light: The Beast — a game that grew out of a standalone expansion about Kyle Crane, the hero of the first part. The premiere of this project is scheduled for September 19. Both games will receive full DLSS 4 support with the Multi-Frame Generation feature.
Additionally, the update only fixes one reported issue — performance degradation in Marvel Rivals, observed in previous versions of the 581.xx series driver. No other fixes are listed, which raises questions: previously, users reported visual artifacts in Mafia: The Old Country and Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater when using versions 581.08 and 581.15. It remains unknown whether these issues have been resolved in the latest release.
The GeForce 581.29 WHQL Game Ready driver is now available for download on the official NVIDIA website or through the NVIDIA application.
