Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator have long remained PC exclusives, but are now preparing to debut on new platforms.
SCS Software has shared interim results of the promotion of console versions of its key simulators. According to the studio, the total number of additions of Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator to the wishlist on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S has exceeded 500,000.
Plans to release ETS2 and ATS on consoles became known in August 2025. Then SCS confirmed the fact of development and opened official pages of projects in digital stores PlayStation and Xbox.
Since then, the studio has not shared new details, and at the moment the console versions remain without a release date. However, the growth of interest from the audience remains.
SCS does not disclose technical details of the adaptation, but it is known that the teams are working on redesigning the interface, control scheme and optimization for the gamepad. The developers promise to preserve the basic philosophy of simulators and transfer all the key content — including major DLC and updates.
