8BitDo hasn't overlooked Umbra's upcoming debut in Honkai: Star Rail — this time, the company has prepared not just a gamepad, but a complete themed set.
8BitDo has announced a limited edition of the Ultimate 2 wireless controller, designed in the style of Honkai: Star Rail. The design of the new product is inspired by the character Umbra — an alternative version of March 7th, who will debut in the game on September 24th with the 3.6 update "Umbra Returns to the Wastelands."
In terms of specifications, it's the same Ultimate 2: with TMR joysticks, paddles on the back, two additional side buttons, trigger mode switches, and a complete docking station. The controller is compatible with PC, Android, iOS, and SteamOS, and supports Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz adapter, and cable connections.
However, unlike other collaborations, this version turned out to be more expensive — $70 versus $65 for the Wuchang model. This is because the set includes themed stick covers, a carrying case, a set of stickers, and a coaster with Umbra art.
The controller supports the Ultimate Software V2 application, where you can configure up to three user profiles: stick sensitivity, dead zones, vibration strength, trigger behavior, and backlighting.
Pre-orders are already open on foreign platforms. Deliveries will begin on October 16th. The gamepad may appear on Russian marketplaces around the same time.
