Wander Stars was first shown at Summer Game Fest and is now available. Paper Castle studio, for whom this is the second premiere after Underhero, worked for almost seven years to implement the new concept.
The project turned out to be more ambitious and significantly expanding the genre. Wander Stars is a turn-based role-playing game with roguelike elements, inspired by the products of the 90s and the style of that time.
The game was released on Steam and consoles, but has not yet impressed PC players: the peak number of simultaneously playing people was only 87. But there is hope that the situation is better on consoles, especially on the Nintendo Switch, because this genre is perceived easier there. The first reviews from players are positive, which gives a chance for the stable success of the project in the future.
