Images from the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake have surfaced online. An artist who previously worked at Aspyr during the project's development shared their portfolio, which features several images of weapon models from the game.

According to MP1st, which discovered the images, the weapons were intended to have a modular system. Players would have been able to upgrade their arsenal by replacing components of blasters and swords.

It is also unknown when exactly these images were made, but it is reported that the artist responsible for them worked at Aspyr until 2022.

The remake was first announced in 2021. However, since then, the project has experienced a real development hell. Initially, the development was handled by Aspyr, but in 2022, the project was put on indefinite hold after the dismissal of the art director and design director of the game.

By August 2022, Aspyr had ceased work on the remake, and the project was handed over to Saber Interactive. Since then, news about the development has been virtually non-existent, and the fate of the game remains unclear. However, in March, Saber said that work on the project is continuing.
