The shooter has been missing from the information field for a long time.
Bungie has announced a new closed technical test for its upcoming shooter Marathon. Testing starts on October 22 and runs until October 27, and registration to participate is now open.
This is the first significant update on the game since its last urgent postponement almost four months ago. According to the developers, the playtest will allow them to test a number of improvements implemented since the alpha version. Key innovations include three new maps, five character shell options, proximity chat, a redesigned combat pace, the ability to solo queue, a deeper narrative through the environment, and many other improvements.
Test participants will not be able to share their impressions due to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). However, the studio has promised to release a public update on the progress of Marathon in the coming months to share progress with the community.
