After a series of updates in the third season, which introduced the hoverbike and relaxation area, players are waiting for further steps from Nexon Games. However, as project director Minsok Chu said in an interview, the upcoming updates are aimed not at new activities, but at developing existing elements.
Chu noted that the team plans to refine the recently added features, including the hoverbike and lounge area. In one of the latest patches, the transport received a collision feature - now it can be used to knock down and push back enemies. According to the developer, such improvements show that Nexon is not just adding content, but making it deeper and more useful for players.
The studio is also working on expanding activities on the Axion Plains map to increase the density of events and tasks. Existing locations, including dungeons, will be used for temporary events and special events.
At the same time, new elements are not completely excluded. Update 1.3.6, released on October 1, added new swords, enhancing the variability of builds and the combat system. In November, the Pioneer Module and the One-to-One Trading function will appear, which, according to the developers, will bring "very significant changes."
The First Descendant is available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
