Treyarch and Activision have shared a report on the Black Ops 7 beta. It is reported that the test playlist from the beta, in which the influence of the SBMM (Skill based matchmaking) system was minimal, will become standard in the release version of the new Call of Duty. Black Ops 7 will recruit completely random players into the lobby, and not just those who match in terms of ping, accuracy, number of hours spent in the game, and many other parameters.
In addition, persistent lobbies will return to Black Ops 7, which have not been in Call of Duty since the release of Black Ops 4 in 2018. Starting with Modern Warfare (2019), lobbies for each match were reassembled, which was very annoying to players. Fans believe that persistent lobbies help maintain a spirit of competition and build friendly relationships.
The Call of Duty community is simply thrilled with the news.
