GamingonPhone held its fifth awards ceremony, celebrating the achievements of developers, publishers, and technologies in the mobile gaming industry.
The fifth GamingonPhone Awards ceremony took place in Bangkok, for the first time in an offline format. 240 finalists participated in 30 nominations, and the winners were chosen by a jury, the publication's editorial team, and players.
The main award — "Mobile Game of the Year" — went to DC Dark Legion. The tactical strategy based on the DC universe impressed with its visual style and gameplay, successfully adapting the comic book mythology to mobile platforms. The project also won in the "Best Adaptation" category.
The title of "Player's Choice Game of the Year" went to the Japanese hit Uma Musume Pretty Derby, which confirmed the activity and dedication of the fan community.
In the "Best Indie Game" nomination, Subnautica, released on mobile devices in July, won. Another port of an indie hit — Dredge — received the award for innovation, and its developers from Black Salt Games were recognized as the best indie studio of the year.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown from Ubisoft won in the "Premium Game of the Year" category. The return of the iconic series was noted for its dynamic gameplay, precise controls, and high-quality mobile port.
The "Best Ongoing Game" award went to Clash Royale. Almost ten years after its release, the project from Supercell remains in demand and commercially successful, and in 2025 it entered the top ten most profitable mobile games.
Finally, the title of "Most Anticipated Game" went to Honor of Kings: World — a spin-off of the popular MOBA from Tencent.
