After the release of the autumn update, Microsoft began advertising all systems with Windows 11 as "AI computers." With its installation, every Windows 11 PC turns into a full-fledged AI platform.
The main innovations are Copilot Voice and Copilot Vision, available to all users. The first tool acts as a voice AI assistant, capable of performing any task or conducting a conversation, resembling Siri, but in a broader context. Copilot Vision analyzes interactions with the cursor in applications and the browser, helping the user with text, voice, and other methods.
Additionally, Copilot Actions has been significantly redesigned: it now supports local files, and the assistant is located in the center of the taskbar for easy access. All functions turn Windows 11 into an "AI PC," where the control center is Copilot.
But users met the innovation negatively: many criticize the new branding. Strict hardware requirements and other limitations make upgrading from Windows 10 difficult, so many are switching to Linux.
