Not everything always goes according to plan.
Lessaria Fantasy Kingdom Sim was recently released on PC on Steam. The strategy in the spirit of Majesty pleased many players, but the launch was not smooth.
The authors acknowledged the presence of issues and will be releasing patches:
To be honest, we are saddened that the release did not go as smoothly as we had hoped. Of course, we didn't want the game to have bugs, balance issues, and inaccuracies. We live by developing Lessaria, and for the past 2.5 years, we have gotten out of bed every day to create this game. And we continued to do it because we received thousands of messages from players who thanked us and supported us. Unfortunately, creating strategy games is a very complex thing. Especially when you create an indirect control RTS where not everything is in your power. It's not easy to immediately make a perfect balance for such games, it's hard to find all the bugs. Plus, your eyes get blurred, and sometimes very much so. [...] We fixed everything we found, implemented improvements at their request, but when the game was released, many more players came and you found more problems :) Plus, they gave a lot of valuable feedback on the game's game design, on the ease of control, on the development of Lessaria. We heard all of this.
After the "most important" patches are released for Lessaria Fantasy Kingdom Sim, the developers intend to release a free add-on with new content and game improvements.
