The feature from American Truck Simulator will soon arrive in ETS 2.
The creators of the long-haul truck driver simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2 have presented a development diary dedicated to update 1.57. This time, they decided to consider a new feature.
The focus was on dynamic loading and unloading of cargo — previously it was presented in American Truck Simulator. In ETS 2, it will appear for some locations in the upcoming Nordic Horizons DLC, as well as in similar warehouses in the base game and other DLCs, including Greece.
Currently, this feature is available for logging trailers. Drivers using their own logging trailer transporting logs, oversized pipes, or metal pipes will be able to load and unload their cargo themselves using a loader with various attachments or a tracked excavator. Once you arrive at the designated location and position the trailer correctly, the loading process will begin automatically.
In the future, the authors of Euro Truck Simulator 2 intend to expand the list of places that support dynamic loading and unloading.
