The events unfold in a nuclear disaster zone, where every day is a struggle: you have to explore radioactive ruins, create weapons and build a bunker.
The zone is full of secrets and deadly traps, and radiation is not the only threat. You will encounter other survivors willing to kill for food and resources, mutated creatures with unique behavior, and various anomalies with dangerous effects. You may encounter strange phenomena in the zone. No one knows how anomalies appeared and how they work: some can help you, while others will turn you inside out. Often in anomalous zones you can find artifacts, unique valuable things, distorted by the anomaly and endowed with unusual properties.
The first reviews of Misery are "very positive", with a rating of 86%. Some players note the presence of technical problems.
The project was able to get into the top Steam sales and into the "Popular New Releases" section.
