Actress Madelaine Petsch, known for the series "Riverdale" and the horror film "Strangers," has decided to officially declare her supervillain ambitions. In a recent interview, Petsch said that the idea of playing Pamela Isley, better known as Poison Ivy, has been haunting her for several years.
"We're working on it. I dressed up as Poison Ivy several Halloweens ago - just to get attention. Something like: “Hey, Matt Reeves, do you even see me?” The film hasn't been shot yet, so who knows?"
According to insiders, the script for the sequel to "The Batman" with Robert Pattinson has already been completed, and there is probably no place for Poison Ivy (at least in Petsch's performance) in it. Earlier, Matt Reeves noted that the antagonist of "The Batman. Part 2" will be completely new to the big screen, which gave rise to rumors about the possible appearance of Hush.
However, some fans believe that Petsch may find her place in the future project "The Brave and the Bold," which, according to rumors, will become more comic-book-like and bright in tone - in contrast to the dark, realistic universe being built by Reeves.
