After a successful PC release in March 2025, the PolyPine ecosystem simulator from Cloudberry Pine studio has been released on mobile devices. This is a "cozy" forest simulator where the player creates a living ecosystem and observes how plants, fungi, and animals affect each other in a single natural cycle.
The player starts with a few seeds and watches them go through all stages of development - from sprout to fallen trunk. Each stage plays a role in maintaining the ecosystem, creating an environment for new species of plants, insects, and animals.
However, the player can not only observe but also actively intervene: change the terrain, create hills, ponds, and swamps, filling them with life. However, wildlife is unpredictable - the ecosystem may be threatened by storms, fires, or pest invasions, and you will have to adapt to these conditions.
The game features 42 species of animals and 35 species of plants, and each session develops in its own way - depending on the player's actions and natural events.
PolyPine was first released on Steam on March 31, 2025, and is now available on Google Play and the App Store. The first three levels of the campaign can be completed for free, and the full version is unlocked via a one-time in-game purchase. There are no ads or other microtransactions in the game.
