The events unfold in the Japanese countryside in the early 1990s. The player has to manage a small 24-hour store, arrange goods, communicate with customers, and make decisions that affect their lives.
The main character is a student, Makoto Hayakawa, who decided to take a break from her studies and help her aunt in a cozy "konbini". The plot is based on her interaction with regular customers and the discovery of their stories.
As the player progresses, they master their own store management style, study customer habits, and find an approach to each one to make their visit enjoyable.
