Microsoft seems close to officially announcing the Xbox Partner Showcase. The event is expected to take place in November 2025.
Insider NateTheHate, answering a question about the presentation, stated that the announcement is expected very soon, which coincides with previous reports that the company is going to hold an event focused on third-party studios before the end of the month. Also, Jez Corden from Windows Central reported that Microsoft is preparing an Xbox Partner Preview specifically for November.
According to Corden, the presentation will focus on products from Microsoft's external publishing partners with an emphasis on expanding the Xbox Play Anywhere program. The initiative will allow you to buy the game once and get access on Xbox, PC and in the cloud with a shared progression. The strategy fits into Microsoft's plan to strengthen the "console — PC" bundle before the Game Awards in December and the expected Developer Direct in January.
One of the most discussed possible announcements was Silent Hill 2 Remake for Xbox Series. Rumors intensified after the official website was updated and the ESRB age rating leaked. Recently, the Microsoft Store discovered versions of the remake for Xbox Series X|S and PC with a release date of November 21, 2025.
