The new NVIDIA driver fixes the performance drop caused by the October Windows 11 update.
NVIDIA has released GeForce Hotfix 581.94, an emergency driver update designed to address performance issues caused by the October Windows 11 update numbered KB5066835.
The hotfix is based on the latest Game Ready version 581.80 but contains one targeted fix aimed at addressing errors that occurred after installing the operating system update.
NVIDIA clarifies that hotfix drivers undergo reduced testing to speed up release and are provided "as is." Their installation remains voluntary: users who do not experience problems are advised to wait for the next certified WHQL release, where this fix will be integrated.
The hotfix can be downloaded from the official NVIDIA website.
