The domestic application store continues to strengthen its position.
VK summed up the results of nine months of 2025 and reported a noticeable increase in the performance of its RuStore mobile store. According to the company, the platform's revenue for January–September increased by 3.9 times compared to the same period last year, and the application catalog grew from 45 to 85 thousand.
The monthly audience of RuStore has also increased significantly over the year — to 65.5 million users, which is 50% more than in the fall of 2024. The platform has become one of the key drivers of the "Ecosystem Services and Other Areas" segment of VK, which provided the company with 20.4 billion rubles in revenue, which is 21% higher than last year's level.
Dmitry Pankrushev, head of RuStore, noted that in three and a half years, the service has gone from a startup to one of the leading mobile application distribution platforms in Russia. According to him, the growth of the audience and content confirms the correctness of the chosen development strategy.
In addition, RuStore is introducing artificial intelligence technologies to analyze user reviews and launching initiatives to support domestic studios. In September, the platform presented a program to promote regional developers and a mobile game accelerator created jointly with the Moscow Video Game Cluster.
