Baldur's Gate 3 Receives 35th Hotfix with Improvements for Steam Deck, NVIDIA GPUs, and More
Larian continues to fix bugs found on various platforms and improve the game's stability.
The creators of Baldur's Gate 3 introduced the 35th hotfix in November. It includes a number of technical fixes designed to eliminate some crashes, as well as fix freezes on PlayStation 5.
- The "Native Build" version on Steam Deck now defaults to using FSR 2.2 upscaling technology instead of FSR 1.
- Fixed a bug that caused external controllers to stop working with the "Native Build" on Steam Deck after using the "switch to desktop" or "return to gaming mode" functions.
- Reduced loading times for the "Native Build" on Steam Deck in some cases.
- Fixed a crash on startup on Steam Deck that occurred when the "EN locale" was missing.
- Improved video memory (VRAM) usage on NVIDIA GPUs.
- Fixed a freeze on PlayStation 5 that occurred when pressing the L2 button.
- Fixed various crashes related to multiplayer, crafting system, and crossplay (Xbox, Mac, Steam Deck).
