Arc Raiders Players Create Factions for Survival — Some Community Members Believe Participants Risk Becoming Easy Targets

Arc Raiders players have begun forming factions with their own charters, dress codes, and unwritten laws. The first to make a loud statement were the "Citizens of Speranza" — a group of raiders who decided to completely abandon PvP and declared neutrality to all sides of the conflict.

Joining the movement requires strict adherence to the rules. Participants are required to wear the Ryder uniform in Ultra Marine coloring, not remove their helmet and mask, keep a defibrillator with them, and revive any fallen raider regardless of their affiliation. On paper, the idea sounds noble, but the community's reaction has been far less unanimous.

On Twitter/X, commentators joke that the "Citizens of Speranza" are signing their own death warrant and becoming ideal targets. "This is a setup. You're creating a firing squad, only you're standing in the part that gets shot at," writes TheScatteredOne. Others suggest that PvP players will start dressing up in the faction's uniform to lure out trusting peacekeepers.

Meanwhile, other associations are appearing in the game — most often under the banners of popular streamers. xQc leads the Blue Origin Alliance, Ninja and TheBurntPeanut have assembled The Bungulators, and TimTheTatman and NICKMERCS have formed the FMF Faction. Each group presents its own set of requirements: armor color, mask type, accessories.

As a result, the Arc Raiders map is rapidly turning into an arena of territorial wars for influence, where the player's appearance acts as a sign of "political" orientation. Reddit and X are already full of stories about peaceful raiders in the "wrong" uniform being shot on sight, and squads in uniform acting like organized gangs.

"We were killed by a group of ten raiders in red suits at the космопорт. They hunt down anyone who doesn't wear their colors," writes Spamolator.

Some players believe that these spontaneous movements hold potential for future updates. The community suggests that Embark implement a full-fledged faction mechanic — with territory control, penalties for killing allies, and an activity point system. The developers have not yet commented on what is happening, but Embark is known to closely monitor audience behavior. Who knows, perhaps these fan experiments will become the basis for the next evolution of Arc Raiders.
