Pocketpair Publishing, known for the hit Palworld, has announced a partnership with independent studio WizMUD Games. Their joint project, Vision Quench, is a co-op looter-shooter in a dark fantasy setting, taking place in the depths of a giant mega-dungeon owned by a consumer conglomerate.
A team of four players must explore the multi-level Green Tower, confront anomalies, monsters, and hidden threats to reach the top and find the legendary "lottery entry code."
The arsenal of Vision Quench combines medieval weapons and modern technology: swords, torches, and maces coexist with machine guns, fireworks, and high-tech cannons.
One of the key mechanics will be the distribution of roles — one player can become a backpack carrier, collecting loot, while the others maintain mobility. Items can be passed by throwing, but carelessness threatens injuries or infections that can be transmitted to allies.
In case of death, the character turns into a "Fricopop" — a miniature plastic figure that can help the team, providing additional visibility and support.
Among other features, the developers declare full support for 3D voice chat that reacts to the acoustics of the rooms, as well as extensive customization options.
Vision Quench will be released in 2026. The game can already be added to the wishlist on Steam.
