Disney Studios has officially postponed the premiere of the animated film "The Simpsons Movie 2". Now, the sequel will be released on September 3, 2027, instead of July 23 as previously planned.
The postponement was announced on the social network X, where the official page of "The Simpsons" published a poster with Homer and a humorous announcement about the new date.
As Variety notes, "The Simpsons Movie 2" replaced one of Marvel's unnamed projects in the release calendar, but details about it are not disclosed. The plot and other details of the film remain unknown.
