The new update sets the stage for next year's release.
The developers of the Modulus automation simulator have released a major update to the demo version and presented a new trailer showing how the project has changed since spring. Now the game is noticeably closer to the final version, and the updated demo demonstrates the evolution of the project over the past months.
The team has completely redesigned the early stages of the game: a new training system has been added, the island design has been reworked, and the technology tree has been updated, which now determines the progression and unlocking of key elements. New buildings, cosmetic improvements, and a dark mode requested by players have appeared in the game.
In addition, in Modulus you can now pause production and construction, as well as carry out delivery missions. An experience and rank system has been added, the interface has been updated, camera sensitivity settings have appeared, as well as new sound.
Old saves from the previous demo version are not supported, but the team assures that it is worth starting over: saves from the updated demo version will be compatible with the full version of the game, which is expected to be released in 2026.
