The show's creators understand that Fallout: New Vegas fans from Obsidian Entertainment have special expectations for the city's on-screen adaptation.
Amazon is preparing for the premiere of the second season of the Fallout series, which will take place on December 17. The new episodes will for the first time move the action to the legendary New Vegas — and, according to Todd Howard, the show's creators decided not to skimp on the scale.
"New Vegas as a full-fledged filming location is incredible. It's amazing how they [Amazon] were able to implement it on such a scale, with a large number of practical elements."
According to him, the very setting of the second season required the team to pay special attention to detail. Unlike the locations of the first season, New Vegas is well known to players, so, as Howard emphasized, fans have very specific expectations about what the city should look like on screen.
