The MMO sandbox continues to evolve in early access.
Clockwork Laboratories has released the Midwinter Begins seasonal update for BitCraft Online, which adds a winter atmosphere and a set of new content to the game.
Some locations have been covered with snow, which can be collected and used to craft themed decorations. A new round of Twitch Drops has also started, lasting for two weeks. By watching streams, players can receive cosmetic items, including hats of random colors and a festive mask.
At the same time, the developers are not limited to the winter event and continue to develop the game. New land ruins with loot have appeared around the world, waiting for their explorers. In addition to seasonal items, new crafting recipes, additional items, and high-level quests have been added to the game.
The Midwinter Begins update is accompanied by a number of technical fixes. The developers have added vegetation to the "Snowy Peaks", "Autumn Forest" and "Jungle" locations, improved the sounds of footsteps when moving on different types of surfaces, increased the stack size for a number of resources, and fixed a whole list of bugs — from teleportation problems to errors in interaction with other players' trading stalls.
