Sloclap has unveiled the second season of Rematch. The update will bring additional content to the football game, with one of the main innovations being the 1v1 mode, which will be released in January.
Prior to its launch, the studio implemented several improvements aimed at enhancing immersion. The game features new goalkeeper animations, refinements to the movement and dribbling system, making movements on the field more responsive and fluid. The second season will also add two new arenas — Clouds VR and Dragon Bay VR.
Battle Pass progression has been accelerated: the required experience per token has been reduced from 1750 to 800. The studio is exploring new systems, including daily and weekly tasks, but these have not yet been confirmed.
The 1v1 Limited Time Mode will officially launch with Patch 8 at the end of January and will be available in custom matches.
Sloclap is also preparing free Discord-themed items and custom titles for community event winners, scheduled with Patch 9.
Finally, the game has implemented a penalty for early quitting from matches in the form of a 3-minute matchmaking ban.
