The character finally has new lines.
In 2015, developer Ulf Andersson, who voiced Wolf, left Starbreeze Studio. The character's silence in some situations, as well as spliced phrases, have spawned memes in the community over the years.
However, the era of jokes is coming to an end. Recently, a group of modders, who are now supporting Payday 2, announced Ulf's return to the role:
Wolf's voice acting, unfortunately, was abandoned for a while — he lacked many lines, and some obviously spliced phrases have long been the subject of jokes in the community. But it's time to fix this a little! Ulf Andersson (with the support of Simon Viklund!) has agreed to stand at the microphone again and give Wolf another chance. A huge thank you to both of them for making this possible.
New Wolf lines have been added to Payday 2 for marking and killing medics, as well as for marking turrets and enemies.
Now, skins previously available for akimbo weapons can also be applied to their one-handed versions.
The VR version of the game has been improved — it should crash less often now.
Modders have also fixed many bugs, a full description of the update is available at the following link.
