Erabit has released an update for the mobile version of Halls of Torment: Premium, with the key innovation being a new playable character — the Bard. This update was previously released on PC in late October 2025. Unlike other heroes, his abilities are synchronized with the musical elements of the game, turning the minimalist "Diabloid" in the style of Vampire Survivors into something like a rhythm roguelike.
Along with the Bard, new skills, five artifacts, and 20 additional quests have appeared. The developers have also introduced a manual level-up function. After its activation, characters stop receiving improvements automatically — players will be able to distribute them manually.
The premium version of Halls of Torment was released on mobile devices in October 2024 and offered an experience similar to the PC version. Later, in September 2025, Erabit introduced a free edition with in-game purchases. It attracted more attention but was criticized not only for its poor technical condition, but also for aggressive monetization and artificial restrictions.
