The cast of the TV adaptation of God of War continues to expand.
As Deadline reports, Emmy Award winner Mandy Patinkin has joined Amazon's God of War series — he will play Odin, the supreme god of Asgard. Patinkin previously appeared in the series "Homeland," "Brilliant Minds," and more.
It was previously confirmed that Ryan Hurst will play Kratos. The series also stars Teresa Palmer (Sif, Thor's wife), Max Parker (Heimdall), and Oulavur Darri Oulafsson, who has been cast as Thor. The project is headed by Ronald D. Moore, who serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer.
The premiere of the God of War series will take place on Prime Video. The exact release date has not yet been announced. The project has already been renewed for a second season.
