The new mode does not replace the standard 3 vs 3 raids and exists alongside them.
Highguard has temporarily introduced a new experimental mode that expands the game's familiar formula. The developers have launched raids in a 5 vs 5 format — a separate playlist that will be available only over the coming weekend.
The lobbies were specifically refined for the 5v5 launch: for the duration of the test, players can form groups of up to five people. The raid gameplay itself has also undergone changes — the number of shared lives has been increased from six to ten, while respawn time has been slightly raised. According to the creators' idea, this should give teams more room for tactical actions related to planting and defusing generators.
Alongside the new mode, Highguard has received a fresh location — the "Soul Well" base. It is described as a grim relic of a bygone era, and it has already been added to the rotation of all game modes, not just the experimental one.
The update also includes a number of technical improvements, balance adjustments, and menu enhancements.
