HBO continues to assemble the directing team for the serial adaptation of "Harry Potter."
Director Benjamin Caron has joined the team of HBO's "Harry Potter" series. He became the third officially confirmed director of the project, following showrunner Mark Mylod and Lucy Forbes. Caron will direct several episodes of the first season, although the exact number has not yet been disclosed.
It was previously reported that Mylod is responsible for at least the first two episodes, while Forbes will handle the third and fourth. In total, the first season of "Harry Potter" will consist of eight episodes, and it is possible that another director, who has not yet been announced, will join the project later.
The premiere of the first season is scheduled for early 2027. The exact release date has not yet been disclosed.
