A modder going by the nickname HyperspaceTowel has released a large-scale mod for Baldur's Gate 3 that brings back elements cut from early access. This is not about a couple of lines: the project restores more than a hundred dialogues and over a thousand fully voiced lines, as well as removed scenes, characters, and additional camp events. Most of the content fits organically into the main plot without disrupting the story's cohesion.
The author paid special attention to companion reactions. Astarion, Gale, Lae'zel, and Shadowheart received the most new material, but Karlach and Wyll now also react more actively to the events of the first act. At the same time, some scenes were recreated almost unchanged compared with the game's early version, while lost fragments — such as content involving Shell Kid — had to be literally pieced back together from scraps of data.
The mod is already available for download, and trailers have been published on its official page clearly demonstrating what Baldur’s Gate 3 could have been like if all early access content had made it to release.
