Zellah Games studio has presented Skate Style, an ambitious skateboarding simulator that the developers are positioning as a "new generation game" for the genre. The key feature of the project is not only a realistic physics model, but also a built-in animation editor that allows you to manually adjust movements, stances and tricks, forming your own skating style.
The authors describe Skate Style as a "platform for self-expression", not just a simulator. Judging by the reaction to the demo version available on Steam, players agree with this. Reviews under the video on YouTube praise the physics, deep customization and responsive controls, calling the project "revolutionary" and "inspiring". Many note that the game combines the best ideas of Session, Skater XL and Skate, while offering its own unique mechanics.
In addition, the developers have promised support for user modifications and regular updates, which should further expand the possibilities for players.
The release of Skate Style is scheduled for 2026, but the exact release date has not yet been announced. So far, the game has only been announced for PC.
