Hello Games has released a major Remnant update (version 6.2) for No Man's Sky, focused on technology recycling, industrial waste collection, and new customization options.
The main innovation is the Gravitino Coil device for the multitool, which allows you to control gravity: attract, move and throw objects, including industrial waste and even Guardian drones. On planets with scrap metal, you can now collect waste and send it to waste processing plants, receiving resources and rewards.
The capabilities of the Colossus heavy exocraft have been significantly expanded. Players can change cabins, chassis, wheels, paint and install modules — for example, a platform for transporting goods or a built-in furnace for processing waste right on the road. A new Cyclops Scope technology has also been added, allowing you to scan the environment without leaving the vehicle.
As part of the temporary Remnant expedition, players will have to clear a desert planet of hazardous waste. Among the rewards are unique modules for Colossus (including mechanical "spider" legs), cosmetic items and an Heirloom armor set.
