Digital Extremes has finally launched the global version of Warframe on Android. The day before, the studio announced the postponement of the release due to a serious authorization error, but the actual delay was minimal: the game became available on the night of February 19 instead of the planned start on February 18.
Initially, the developers did not name a new release date, which raised expectations of a more significant postponement. The reason for the pause was a failure that caused an infinite login loop on a number of devices, primarily Pixel smartphones and tablets. The error was detected during a regional launch in Canada, after which the release was promptly suspended for correction.
Now Warframe is officially available worldwide via Google Play — the game can be downloaded including from the Russian segment of the store, and a translation into Russian is also available. The mobile version supports cross-platform saves and progress synchronization with PC and consoles. To run, you need a device with Android 12 or newer and at least 4 GB of RAM.
The "Cumulus" set, timed to coincide with the launch, will remain available until March 4. It includes "Cirrus Clouds" armor, "Cumulus" syandana, "Stratus" pistol skin, "Spectaca" palette and a three-day resource booster. New players will receive a reward after completing the "Awakening" quest, and returning players will receive a reward after setting up cross-save.
