The GOG platform has expanded the Preservation Program, adding ten projects to it. All of them received technical updates and additional optimization for modern systems.
The updated list includes:
- The Wolf Among Us;
- The Last Express;
- The Last Express Gold Edition;
- Eric the Unready;
- Police Quest Collection;
- Lost Eden;
- Space Quest 1+2+3;
- The Dame Was Loaded;
- Kingdom: The Far Reaches;
- Litil Divil.
The Preservation Program is positioned as a long-term initiative to preserve classics. Unlike standard distribution, GOG undertakes to regularly update game versions, fix technical problems, and maintain their operability on future versions of operating systems.
The company also previously announced plans to add Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time to the program, emphasizing that it intends to further expand the list of supported projects.
