The company continues to introduce players to MHS3 before its release in March.
Capcom has presented a new story trailer and 13 minutes of gameplay for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection.
The trailer, titled Go Forth, is dedicated to the game's plot, which revolves around Ace Rider, an experienced Rathalos rider. The story begins with a conflict between states and the emergence of a mysterious threat called Encroachment. Unlike previous installments, the hero here is already a seasoned fighter, not a novice, which allows for a higher level of stakes from the very beginning.
The main campaign is designed for approximately 30 hours. Completing side quests and additional content can take 40-50 hours. The developers emphasize that they focused on the richness of the main story, rather than on content that unlocks after the finale.

The gameplay video is accompanied by commentary from lead game designer Wakahara, who explains the key features of the game, from character creation to details of the combat system.
The combat system remains turn-based. The developers deliberately abandoned action elements, noting that there is enough dynamics in the main Monster Hunter series. Instead, the new part will feature a stamina bar for using skills and a separate energy bar for monsters. When it is depleted, opponents weaken, and the player gains access to enhanced techniques that speed up the filling of the bond gauge and allow activating the corresponding abilities.

The game is scheduled for release on March 13, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
