The Life Is Strange series from Prime Video has officially found its main characters. The role of Max Caulfield will be played by Tatum Grace Hopkins, and Chloe Price will be played by Maisy Stella.
For Tatum Grace Hopkins, this will be a television debut. Previously, she worked mainly in the theater. Maisy Stella is primarily known as a singer, but in her teens she starred in the series "Nashville", and in 2024 she debuted in the lead role in the film "My Old Ass".
The series will adapt the plot of the original 2015 game and will tell about a student Max, who discovers the ability to rewind time. Using this gift, she saves the life of her childhood friend Chloe. Trying to understand the nature of the new power, the girls begin to investigate the mysterious disappearance of another student and gradually reveal the dark secrets of their city.
Charlie Covell is the showrunner and screenwriter of the project. Dmitry M. Johnson, Michael Lawrence Goldberg and Timothy I. Stevenson from Story Kitchen became executive producers. The production is handled by Amazon MGM Studios.
The premiere date and other details have not yet been revealed.
