Publisher Awaken Realms and studio Byzel have announced the psychological horror HOARDER for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam). The release date is yet to be revealed.
The project is being led by Gustav Stachelski, one of the creators of the atmospheric horror Darkwood. The new game promises an unusual combination of genres and a non-standard narrative structure.
The main action of HOARDER unfolds in a mysterious complex that gradually changes depending on the player's actions. During the playthrough, you can control a submarine, exploring the seabed with a scanner, finding strange artifacts, and returning them to base. The resources found are used to open new zones, improve existing rooms, and advance through the plot.
