Marathon Players Finally Breach the Cryo Archive. New Trailer Promises Battle with Ancient and Powerful Enemies

Runners are in for tough challenges and very valuable rewards.

After several weeks, the Marathon player community has finally managed to open a new location — the Cryo Archive. The map will become available on March 20.

Bungie has released an atmospheric trailer that immediately caught the attention of players. It was voiced by Ben Starr — the voice of the legendary AI Durandal from the original Marathon trilogy.

Only players who have reached level 25 and unlocked all factions will be able to enter the Cryo Archive. 

The end of the trailer also promises a clash with the S'pht — an ancient, highly intelligent race of cybernetic beings.
